Trekking info.

Typical Day on Trek

After packing bags and hearty breakfast, we set out for a walk. We stop for a lunch after 3-4 hours walking. The afternoon walk is relatively short and therefore we arrive at our destination on time. Upon our arrival at destination, tea is served. We spend remaining afternoon in exploring the village, doing a bit of washing or by enjoying a guide book.. Sometimes we will be free after the lunch. You can enjoy your evening by playing cards and relieving the days tiredness before you to bed.

You do not have to face any problems regarding accommodation while going trek in Annapurna region, Lang tang region and Everest region. You can find lots of clean and gracious lodges along the trail. We generally stay in a single room. Sometimes you will have to share beds in case we can not manage single rooms. There are limited facilities available in the tea houses. However, we always make sure that your stay is comfortable and food is hygienic. A few have electric lights and all have a spacious dining room-lounge. Every day, you and your group will be accommodated in local lodges. Our guide assistance (Sherpa) always goes ahead of us to book the required rooms for the group. Please remember that some of the lodges are very basic and sense of adventure is must to adjust with them.

We are working in collaboration with hotels under 4 star categories and they provide good services to our clients. However, if you have got different choice in selecting hotels, we respect your selection. You can click in our website to find the categories of hotels.

The crew team consists of a local leader (Sirdar or Headman) and a team of porters to carry all your gear. On average, there will be a ratio of one porter to every two trekkers. Sirdar speaks reasonable English, good enough to explain you about the places, local culture or any sight that catches your eyes.

You are free to choose any type of trips at your convenient time frame for any numbers of people if you want to travel independently with friends, families and colleagues.

Responsible Travel

Wonderful environment of the Himalayas is also an extremely fragile one. Increasing population density and numbers of trekkers threaten the very beauty of Nepal . As deforestation is one of the greatest environmental threats, we do not have camp fires and use kerosene for cooking as an alternative fuel to wood.

We also discourage you to use wood-fuelled hot showers in lodges along the way. Many lodges, however, now provide solar hot showers, a far more eco-friendly alternative.

Garbage disposal is another major problem and some of the busier trails can, at times, appear strew with litter. Our staff members are well motivated towards eco-friendly practices. We carry out all our garbage, apart from that which can be safely and easily burnt at the campsite. Our aim is to help protect and preserve this beautiful environment for future generations of trekkers to enjoy.
