This slightly longer trek thru the region takes you over the Singla Pass to a more remote area and thru Laba, the highest village in the Dhading District. Depending on your interests, there are two finishes to the route, which can also be customized to suit your preferences and your schedule.

With the first option, you will visit the historical town of Gorkha, which is the ancestral home of the renowned "Gorkha Warriors", who fought bravely in many of the world’s major wars. Gorkha is also significant, as before the 1740's, it was a small independent nation with its own king, Prithivi Naryan Shah. The king was able to unite several small kingdoms into one, which became modern Nepal.

The second option finishes the trek with two days of camping in the beautiful Khalte area. Here you will have an opportunity to visit local homes and schools – perhaps even teach an English class to delighted Nepali children. You may be able to sample freshly made raksi or sugarcane toffee – a special treat when in season!  There are also numerous day hikes with lovely views of the valley and the great mountain ranges nearby.

Day 08: Laprak – Machha Khola 
Day 09: Machha khola – Kashigaon 
Day 10: Kashigaon – Singhu Kharka 
Day 11: Singhu Kharka – Bangsher Kharka 
Day 12: Bangsher Kharka – Burang Kharka 
Day 13: Burang Kharka – Singla Base Camp 
Day 14: Singla Base Camp – Sing La  – Malmitchet Kharka 
Day 15: Malmitchet Kharka – Kispang Gaon 
Day 16: Kispang gaon – Betrawati 
Day 17: Bedrawati – Kathmandu
